Public Transport
Whilst not on any public transport routes the Roast Ox Inn can be reached by car or taxi very easily. Located in the centre of Painscastle on the B4954, Painscastle is a short 15 minute drive from the historic town of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its annual book festival. The nearest train stations are either Hereford (26 miles) or Builth Wells (12 miles).
